Base pay range

$86,640.00/yr - $/yr

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law. Locations:

The Actuarial Analyst III supports Medicare Advantage pricing and bid development within the Medicare Actuarial team.

• Benefit Ownership:
  Manage assigned pricing models and benefits, ensuring data accuracy, methodology consistency, and timely bid filing readiness.
• Contract Interpretation:
  Review vendor and benefit contracts, translating terms into accurate pricing assumptions and model inputs.
• Data Validation & Issue Resolution:
  Validate data sources, troubleshoot discrepancies, and resolve issues quickly to maintain model integrity.
• Experience Analysis:
  Conduct experience studies to support pricing decisions and assumption development.
• Audit support:
  Assist with CMS bid desk reviews and audits by preparing documentation and explanations of pricing methodologies.

  Lead special projects, develop process improvements, and provide guidance and training to junior analysts.

Requires a BA/BS and to have passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams and a minimum of 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

• Intermediate Excel experience preferred.
• Intermediate SQL query experience preferred.
• Strong organization and project management experience preferred.
