Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead initiative from early-stage planning through execution. This role will partner closely with manufacturing operations, technical teams, and external software vendors to either develop or implement a digital scheduling solution that integrates with Kinaxis and other enterprise reporting systems.

Lead project focused on improving machine scheduling

Partner with manufacturing leadership to understand operational workflows and business requirements.

Manage cross-functional agile teams (IT, Engineering, Operations, and vendors).

Evaluate software vendor solutions and support the vetting and selection process.

Oversee potential build vs. buy decision processes.

Coordinate integration efforts between scheduling systems, Kinaxis, and downstream reporting platforms.

Develop project plans, manage timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications.

Drive sprint planning, standups, and agile ceremonies as applicable.

Ensure alignment between technical solution delivery and manufacturing business goals.

5+ years of Project Management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (forging, heat treatment, production scheduling).

Experience leading enterprise system implementations or digital transformation projects.

Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.

Ability to manage vendor evaluations and selection processes.

Willingness to travel extensively if not local to Columbus, GA.

Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Experience with Digital Twins or advanced manufacturing scheduling systems.

Familiarity with Kinaxis or other enterprise planning systems (nice to have, not required).

Hybrid role for candidates within commuting distance of Columbus, GA.

For remote candidates, heavy travel is expected, including extended onsite stays (1–2 weeks at a time) during key project phases.
