Mission-Driven, Outpatient-Only Role | Georgia | September 2025 Start

We’re seeking a  Board-Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician  for an  outpatient-only locum opportunity  starting  September 2025  in  Georgia . Join a dedicated public health team serving  underserved and homeless populations  in a compassionate, community-centered setting.

Position Details

Start Date:

September 2025

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday | Day shifts only |  No call, no weekends

Setting:  Public health clinic –  outpatient only

Volume:  10–12 patients/day

Population:  Primarily adults, with occasional pediatrics and geriatrics

EMR:  Epic

Team:  Collaborative team of 6 experienced mid-levels

Scope of Practice

Perform  pelvic exams, pap smears , and  employment physicals

Willingness to be  trained in HIV care  and  Integrated Behavioral Health  (not primary duties, occasional coverage only)

Serve a diverse,  underserved patient population , including immigrants and those experiencing homelessness

✅  Requirements

Board Certified  in Family or Internal Medicine ( IM preferred )

Active GA medical license & DEA

BLS certification

5+ years of post-training clinical experience

Local candidates only  (Mileage reimbursed up to $50/day – no lodging or travel provided)

Spanish-speaking  strongly preferred

Experience with underserved populations  highly preferred

Leadership or supervision experience is a  plus
