About the Position
Locum Jobs Online is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Gastroenterology MD in Lawrenceville, Georgia, 30042!
A growing Gastroenterology practice in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking 2 General GI Physicians to join the team as hospitalists. This role provides inpatient consultative care, covering unassigned GI patients and supporting the existing GI team.
Responsibilities include:
Consultative inpatient service, typically 7:30am – 5:00pm
7-on/7-off schedule (22 weeks per year)
Collaborate with two inpatient APPs covering 7 days/week
Night call coverage managed by the current GI physicians
Participate in hospitalist coverage not assigned to these roles
Maintain high-quality patient care standards and documentation

Requirements
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Active or willing to obtain Georgia medical license
DEA registration required prior to start
Recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
Clean malpractice history preferred
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a hospitalist team environment
