Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are a high-volume distribution and fulfillment operation serving major national retailers. Our customers—including Target, Walmart, and others—demand precision, accuracy, and compliance with detailed shipping requirements. We’re seeking a Compliance Lead who can ensure every order that leaves our dock meets those standards and reflects the quality of our operation.

Position Overview

The Compliance Lead is a critical role within the shipping office, responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance at packing stations and across warehouse shipping operations. This individual must be highly detail‑oriented, capable of reading and interpreting customer manuals, and skilled at identifying and resolving compliance issues before shipments leave the facility. Beyond spotting issues, the Compliance Lead will also drive root cause analysis and implement process improvements to prevent repeat problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of packing stations to ensure compliance with customer‑specific requirements.
  • Verify labeling accuracy, pallet patterns, packing list placement, and other shipment details.
  • Interpret and apply compliance manuals and guidelines from major retailers (e.g., Target, Walmart).
  • Identify and resolve quality or compliance issues before shipments leave the dock.
  • Investigate root causes of compliance failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams to improve processes and eliminate recurring errors.
  • Document compliance checks, audits, and improvements for reporting purposes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for customer‑specific compliance requirements.
Qualifications
  • Experience in warehouse, shipping, or quality control roles (compliance or lead experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and labeling processes.
  • Ability to interpret retailer compliance manuals and apply them to daily operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail—able to spot small but critical issues.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with experience in root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay and benefits package.
  • A pivotal role ensuring compliance with major national retailers.
  • Opportunity to shape processes and prevent costly errors.
  • Growth and career development in a dynamic warehouse operation.
