This position is Hybrid in Columbus, GA

This is a Temp to Permanent opportunity. Role will be hybrid after training.

Job Description:
  • Assist with category strategy by leveraging spend analytics and supplier research; capture and report supplier spend, spend under management, and maverick spend.
  • Update Ariba’s contract management module with fully executed contracts (Master Service Agreements, Statement of Works, Non-disclosure agreements) and other contractually obligating documents, maintaining accuracy.
  • Assess primary and secondary research, conduct competitive analysis, supplier analysis, and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate value propositions from potential suppliers and determine if solutions fit the company’s needs.
  • Coordinate meetings and discussions with potential suppliers.
  • Manage contracts and review POs/invoices in SAP Ariba.
  • Conduct research in the system regarding POs/invoices as part of procurement activities.
Requirements:
  • Procurement background and basic knowledge of sourcing principles, indirect procurement, supplier analysis, RFP, and research methods.
  • Experience with end-to-end procurement processes, research, data analysis, and RFP processing.
  • Experience loading contracts into SAP Ariba.
  • Aptitude for conceptualizing, communicating, and selling new concepts, with an analytical approach to problem solving and strategic development.
  • Understanding of financial/cost analyses, business case development, and decision modeling.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective interaction and negotiation with management, customers, and suppliers.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba contract module and SAP Fieldglass (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Adobe and Adobe eSig (preferred).
