This position is Hybrid in Columbus, GA
This is a Temp to Permanent opportunity. Role will be hybrid after training.
Job Description:- Assist with category strategy by leveraging spend analytics and supplier research; capture and report supplier spend, spend under management, and maverick spend.
- Update Ariba’s contract management module with fully executed contracts (Master Service Agreements, Statement of Works, Non-disclosure agreements) and other contractually obligating documents, maintaining accuracy.
- Assess primary and secondary research, conduct competitive analysis, supplier analysis, and industry best practices.
- Evaluate value propositions from potential suppliers and determine if solutions fit the company’s needs.
- Coordinate meetings and discussions with potential suppliers.
- Manage contracts and review POs/invoices in SAP Ariba.
- Conduct research in the system regarding POs/invoices as part of procurement activities.
- Procurement background and basic knowledge of sourcing principles, indirect procurement, supplier analysis, RFP, and research methods.
- Experience with end-to-end procurement processes, research, data analysis, and RFP processing.
- Experience loading contracts into SAP Ariba.
- Aptitude for conceptualizing, communicating, and selling new concepts, with an analytical approach to problem solving and strategic development.
- Understanding of financial/cost analyses, business case development, and decision modeling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective interaction and negotiation with management, customers, and suppliers.
- Experience with SAP Ariba contract module and SAP Fieldglass (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Adobe and Adobe eSig (preferred).
