Overview
Animal Care Center of Carters Creek is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team for our new kennel

! Our Kennel team is dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients while providing critical support to the veterinary team.
- Assist with daily operations including daycare support, boarding care, bathing, and cleaning runs
- Provide care for boarding canine and feline patients, including feeding, medication administration, walking (canine), cage/kennel cleaning and maintenance, and monitoring for health or behavioral concerns
- Observe pets for medical or behavioral concerns and document findings accurately
- Perform routine janitorial and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe environment
- Ensure kennels, common areas, and treatment spaces are properly sanitized and stocked
- Maintain accurate record-keeping related to patient care and daily activities
This position is ideal for those who are self-driven, detail-oriented, enjoy cleaning and organization, and are committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.
ScheduleSchedule: This is a flexible position open to someone full-time or part-time
. Schedule and availability are needed Monday–Sunday
, with weekend shifts rotating every other weekend
. Late shifts may be scheduled in the future, with shifts ending as late as 9:00 PM.
- Compensation: $15 - 15.50 per hour, for each hour worked*
