Job Shift: First Shift 6a - 2:30p

Basic Function: The Material Handler is responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing material.

• Loads, unloads, and transfers material to designated areas in accordance with training procedures.
• Labels and stocks material in warehouse utilizing equipment (i.e., scan guns, forklifts, or pickers) – lifting and carrying material may be required.
• Inspects material for deficiencies or breakages prior to shipment or warehouse storage.
• Records all material discrepancies utilizing appropriate procedures.
• Completes inventory preparation for warehouse stock.
• Pulls material from the shelf in accordance with ticket requirements (use of forklift or picker required).
• Repools and fills customer order in accordance with ticket and completes appropriate paperwork/checklists.
• Organizes and prepares material for shipments as needed.
• Follows ticket instructions and shipping standards in accordance with procedures.
• Ensures all material is packaged adequately to prevent freight damage.
• Always maintains a neat and orderly workplace - includes moving pallets, straightening inventory, sweeping, and removing/disposing of debris.
• Follows safety procedures in accordance with approved training and reports any dangerous conditions to management immediately.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written, technical, and oral communication skills.
• Basic Math Aptitude.
