The Maury County Human Resources Department is accepting internal and external applications for the position of Correctional Officer beginning January 12 through January 26, 2026 at 4pm.
This is a full-time position (grade
8) with a starting pay rate of $19.71 per hour.
Must be at least 18 years of age; valid driver’s license; be a high school graduate or equivalent; must be a U.S. Citizen; cannot have been convicted or plead guilty or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge, or to any violation of any federal or state laws, or city ordinance relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor, or controlled substances;
cannot have been released or discharged under any other than honorable discharge from any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces; must pass a psychological and physical examination including a drug screen and a complete background investigation.
