We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Columbia, TN. This role is focused on inpatient care with call-only responsibilities. The position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled OB/GYN professional interested in a temporary assignment.

• Coverage Type: Call-only
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage

• Inpatient Care: Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in an inpatient setting.
• Call Coverage: Be available for 24-hour call coverage, handling admissions, consultations, and patient care as needed.
• Admissions: Manage admissions and oversee patient care in the hospital environment.
• Rounding: Responsible for rounding on nursery patients as required.

• OB/GYN Expertise: Deliver routine obstetric and gynecological care, including handling various procedures and emergency situations.
• Patient Volume: Manage approximately 2 patients per shift.
• Procedures: Perform typical OB/GYN procedures, with a focus on inpatient care.

• Board Certification: Required in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory.
• State License: Must hold an active Tennessee medical license.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 7 days.
• EMR Systems: Familiarity with eCW and Med Host is preferred.

• Hospital Bed Capacity: 16 beds in the department.
• Support: The department is supported by experienced staff and has the necessary resources for effective patient care.
• Temporary Privileges: Available to expedite the onboarding process.
