Job Responsibilities
* Supervise and assist in installation and emergency repair of plumbing systems, underground utilities and sewer systems statewide.
* Submit requisitions and estimated costs on routine maintenance and institutional repairs.
* Instruct and train personnel in the operation of plumbing, sewer and underground utility systems.
* Perform required tests and collect data to improve & maintain efficiency and performance of all related systems.
Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina
Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems.
SCDC
Minimum Requirements:
* A high school diploma and 5 years of trades experience directly related to the plumbing area of employment.
