Job Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, controls, supervises, administers and completes facility plumbing maintenance and repair program.
• Responsibilities include program development; supervision of emergency plumbing maintenance and repair operations; and the installation, operation, and maintenance of plumbing and sewage disposal systems.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas or waste disposal systems. Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.
SCDC Minimum Requirements:

• A high school diploma and five (5) years of experience in the installation, maintenance or repair of air, water, gas, or waste disposal systems.
