System One is currently seeking an  Electrician on a direct hire position located in Columbia, SC.  

Electrician Responsibilities:  

+ Install and connect skid wiring from control panel to electrical devices

+ Install rigid and flexible conduit and associated wiring

+ Troubleshoot electrical systems including 480

VAC, 120

VAC, 24

VDC and 4-20mA

+ Install stainless steel and poly pneumatic tubing

+ Complete miscellaneous maintenance assignments

+ Any other duties as assigned by supervisor as needed

Electrician Requirements:  

+ Two-year electrical or electronics technical degree or five years of experience

+ Three plus years of electrical installation and troubleshooting experience

+ Journeyman License preferred

+ Experience in fabricating industrial controls panels

+ The ability to read and follow electrical and mechanical prints

+ The ability to read and comprehend component manuals

+ The ability to perform various mechanical tasks

+ Strong knowledge of NEC electrical codes

+ Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules

+ Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in a team environment

+ Flexibility to changing work assignments  

+ High awareness of safe working practices and procedures.
