Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Owen Steel Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose:
    Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
  • Preventive Maintenance:
    Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Repair and Replace:
    Repair or replace defective parts, such as gears, bearings, and valves, and reassemble equipment after completion of repairs.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults in machinery and equipment using diagnostic tools and schematics.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including parts used and repairs performed.
  • Safety Compliance:
    Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Training:
    Train production workers on routine preventive maintenance and safe operation of machinery.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Minimum of [X] years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a steel plant or similar environment.
  • Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:

  • Physical Requirements:
