Security Officer - Gate Credential

Position: Security Officer - Gate Credential Check
Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors at a utilities location by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Control entry and exit at gates and/or lobby points by verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing arrivals to the correct destination;
Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications to site contacts and public responders as required;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, critical infrastructure areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access, and document findings in written logs and reports
