** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients, patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity.

+ Assist with visitor management, including verifying identification and directing individuals as needed within the healthcare location.

+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

+ Support emergency response activities, including providing information and guidance to staff and visitors during drills and actual events.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for all.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
