Overview
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support our large, well-established department comprising 70 CRNAs and 15 anesthesiologists. This position involves rotating through multiple ambulatory surgery centers in Lexington, including locations in Irmo and Northeast Columbia, with the possibility of traveling up to once or twice weekly. Candidates must be available for full-time work, specifically 4 days of 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, starting March 23, 2026.
You will support anesthesia services in a fast-paced environment serving adult and geriatric patients across various specialties such as GYN, ortho, urology, vascular, and more.
Required Skills
- Board Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CCRN)
- Valid state licensure with DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice experience
- Proficient in Epic EMR system (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with Draeger anesthesia machines, Glide scopes, and Alaris IV pumps
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Strong attention to patient safety and anesthesia delivery standards
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
- Experience working in a hospital and outpatient surgery center environment
- Effective communication skills and adaptability to rotating work locations
- Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
- Active state license and DEA registration
- Prior experience supporting high-volume surgical procedures involving adult and geriatric populations
- Willingness to travel to multiple surgery centers within Lexington area
- Credentialing process completion within 60-90 days
- Ability to work full-time on shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Coverage of up to 150 anesthetics per day across multiple departments including OR, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, etc.
- Support staff trained anesthesia techs available on-site
