Description:
This position is for a Critical Care Nurse in a newly established ICU unit.
The shift schedule includes 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts during the day.
The patient ratios will range from 1:1 to 1:2.
On-call requirements may apply based on low census.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
Nurses may float to similar units as needed.
Candidates will need to manage a variety of patient diagnoses, primarily focusing on cardiac conditions.
Preferred experience includes handling advanced equipment and procedures such as CRRT.
The role involves working with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
Additional responsibilities include assessing and managing critical patient needs, monitoring vital signs, and supporting families.
There is a possibility of expansion in bed capacity as patient volume increases.
Candidates should be mindful of potential emergency response duties during specified seasonal conditions.
