WhatYou’ll Do
CHA’s bridge team is recognized as one of the leading innovators in the industry. You will develop bridge designs that reduce cost and maintenance, utilize accelerated bridge construction techniques to minimize road closure impacts, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that improve mobility and safety throughout the United States.
In this role you will plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of a project independently, mentor junior staff, provide technical review, recommend design alterations, and monitor progress against the project work plan. You will apply advanced judgment and analysis techniques to design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems for new products or changes to meet client needs.
What You Bring- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
- Bridge design experience required
- Seismic analysis experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering discipline with proven ability to apply best practices
- Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc.)
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and understanding of engineering business practices and laws
- Leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency with MS Office required
- Active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
