* This is a union facility. Must be open to all shifts and pay union dues (within the first 90 days).

What You'll Need- GED or diploma (trade school = bonus)
- Experience running machines or working in production/warehouse
- Mechanical smarts - you know your way around tools and gauges
- Sharp eye for detail to keep quality tight
- Strength and stamina - lift up to 50 lbs. and stay on your feet
- Team player who shows up, works safely, and gets it done
- Operate all CNC equipment, including mills and lathes
- Set up and operate equipment per job requirements using the following: blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, and locations of surfaces.
- Configures CNC by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, and programs.
- Changes tool inserts as required to maintain part specifications and monitor tool usage and wear.
- Must have a good working knowledge of M&G codes
- Ability to enter work orders into the maintenance system.
- Loads the machine with work pieces and verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
- Maintains specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Accomplishes organization goals by offering improvement opportunities.
- Meets production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
- Works with other CNC associates to troubleshoot, set up, and machine new products
