Description
ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a Project Manager to support our Columbia, PA manufacturing facility. The Project Manager - Capital Expenditures (Cap Ex) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering capital projects within a manufacturing facility. This role manages the full project lifecycle-including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, contractor oversight, equipment installation, and project closeout while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, production, and financial objectives.
How You Will Help
* Lead the end-to-end management of Cap Ex projects ranging from $100K-$20M annually.
* Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, funding requests, and risk assessments.
* Oversee design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and validation activities.
* Manage communication among operations, engineering, maintenance, EHS, finance, and external partners.
* Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
Budget & Financial Management
* Prepare and manage capital budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and spending reports.
* Track and control project costs to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
* Lead competitive bidding, vendor selection, and contract negotiation.
* Support finance with asset capitalization and project closeout.
Risk, Safety & Compliance
* Lead project safety planning in partnership with EHS.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
* Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental regulations, and internal safety standards.
What You Will Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
* 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience managing Cap Ex projects from $10-$20 million.
* Strong understanding of industrial equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
Preferred:
* PMP, PE, or Six Sigma certification.
