As a Maintenance Helper at ASC, you will have the opportunity to assist in keeping the foundry safe and running smoothly. You could be shoveling sand, sweeping and cleaning designated areas, operating a forklift, and more!

• Shovel sand from pits using flat‑edge shovel
• Sweep and clean designated areas; use push broom, sweep dust and debris, discard into waste receptacle
• Remove waste sandbags from designated areas
• Operate forklift after obtaining certification, transport waste and product
• Take direction from supervisor; understand temperature controls; assist with cleaning/maintaining furnace ladles

• Requires standing up to 10 hours per day
• Repetitive use of both hands and feet up to 10 hours per day
• Constant awareness of surroundings
• Requires some pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 50 lbs)

• Standard shift Monday‑Friday
• Overtime offered
• Sundays off
• On‑site nurse
