Job Description

The Senior Scientist will contribute to ongoing research initiatives through nucleic acid extraction from environmental samples and the preparation of libraries for high throughput sequencing applications. The position requires advanced molecular biology skills, including substantial hands on experience with Illumina library preparation, sequencing workflows, and data driven research support.

Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m, with occasional schedule adjustments, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required to support animal care, research projects, or facility needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Salary Range: $59,737.60 - $ per year
