Position: Outpatient Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner (Dual Post linked Job ID with 57541)

This is a Dual Posting linked with Job  (Outpatient Neurosurgery Physician Assistant) and two candidates will be selected. Final titles will depend on the qualifications of the final candidates.

The Department of Neurosurgery is excited to announce an opening for a Nurse Practitioner. This individual will collaborate with our neurosurgeons located at the University Hospital to provide care for our neurosurgical patient population in our outpatient clinics.

Monday-Friday
Work in collaboration with Neurosurgeons in the clinical outpatient setting seeing hospital neurosurgical follow ups, postoperative follow ups, new consultation patients, spine and skull fractures, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury follow ups, and other neurosurgical patients.

$7,500 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, optional weekend shift bonus of $750 per day

Credentials:
Possess a specialty certificate by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the Pediatric Certification Nursing Board (PCNB), or the National Certification Corporation (NCC).

Master of Science in Nursing degree.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Must be granted a Document of Recognition from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
