Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a MO or compact license and at least two years of OR experience.

• Work in the Operating Room within a hospital setting
• Day shifts (4x10 hours), 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Rotating shifts including assigned weekends and at least 50 percent of holidays during the contract
• On-call responsibilities required
• Potential exposure to patients with contagious illnesses
• Use of Cerner EMR is preferred but not required
• Must be able to work at the assigned location for the full contract term
• Role requires coverage of assigned weekends and at least half of holidays during the contract
• Physical demands include frequent movement and handling of patients and equipment
• Work environment operates 24/7, including during inclement weather
• Candidates within a 75-mile radius are considered local and may receive a different pay rate

• Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in the Operating Room specialty
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of active patient care in a hospital environment
• First-time travelers accepted
