Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a MO or compact RN license and two years of relevant experience.

• Position based in a hospital Operating Room
• Day shifts with four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:30 to 17:00
• Fair share of call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
• Rotating shifts required as the facility operates 24/7
• Cerner EMR system is used; prior experience preferred but not required
• Patient care includes contact with potentially contagious individuals
• Responsibilities include perioperative patient care and teamwork within a busy OR environment
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
• Holiday and inclement weather coverage is required
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Work attire or scrub information is not specified

• Active MO or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in the Operating Room specialty
• Ability to perform physical job demands, including ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• Must be able to take call and work assigned weekends and at least half of the holidays during the contract
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
