Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of Level I trauma and acute care experience for evening shifts in a dynamic hospital environment.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based MRI department covering adult ICU, pediatrics, and adult acute care settings
- Level I trauma center experience required
- Handles diverse caseloads including adult and pediatric patients in critical care settings
- Utilizes Siemens and McKesson MRI equipment and Cerner EMR (Cerner experience preferred)
- Rotating evening shifts (5x8 hours) from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Call, weekend, and holiday shifts are required as part of scheduling
- Position may require working during inclement weather
- Position requires the ability to take call, work assigned weekends, and cover at least 50% of holidays during the contract
- The facility operates 24/7 with a busy trauma and critical care environment
- First time travelers will be considered if they have at least 2 years of Level I trauma experience
- Locals within a 75-mile radius are allowed at a reduced rate
- RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of consideration
- Must provide two professional references for consideration
- Scrub or dress code requirements will be specified onsite
- Minimum of 2 years recent MRI technologist experience, with 1 year in MRI specialty
- Prior Level I trauma center experience required
- Experience with Siemens and McKesson MRI equipment required
- Adult ICU, pediatrics, and adult acute care experience required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
- Active MO or Compact state MRI license required if applicable
- Physical ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects over 20 lbs
- Comfort working with contagious illnesses in a healthcare setting
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
