Boone Hospital Center, a 392-bed full-service hospital in Columbia, Missouri is seeking a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon. The candidate for this position will be joining a world-class group of established general surgeons practicing to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

$40,000 Starting Bonus

• Join the heart care team, at Boone Hospital Center, that performs more cardiac-related procedures than any other mid-Missouri hospital.
• The current heart team includes world-class cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, electrophysiologists as well as specialized nurses, therapists, and rehabilitation experts.
• Work in a designated Level 1 STEMI center and Stroke with no trauma designation
• Immediate patient volume available, ensuring a rewarding practice from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional medical care of assigned patients, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver compassionate care.
• Perform thorough histories and physicals, adhering to hospital by-laws and best practices.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety in this critical role at Boone Health.
• Maintains status as a Board Certified/Eligible Physician (Internal Medicine)
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
