PURPOSE
This position will provide administrative support to the Athletics and Activities Director, including welcoming visitors, assisting coaches and club sponsors, and providing clerical support for the school's athletics and activities programs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
This Office Personnel is responsible for:
- Greeting office visitors, staff and students.
- Support the Director of Athletics and Activities
- Support coaches and club sponsors
- Schedule athletic events on the Collaborative Calendar
- Create and maintain team rosters
- Manage student physicals
- Communicate with game workers to summarize duties prior to games
- Special Payroll for game workers - hourly and salary
- Officials vouchers: calculate pay and turn in to bookkeeper
- Game day management (Make game bags for game workers: gates, score tables, press box)
- Work with programs such as Hometown Ticketing and Event Manager
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the mission and vision of Columbia Public School District.

Reports To:
Principal, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
High School Diploma. Microsoft Office proficient.
Accurate and detail oriented. Interpersonal and excellent telephone communication skills.
Preferred:
Prior office/clerical experience and familiarity with computer programs and a quick learner of new computer programs.
Ideal candidate will have a professional and friendly demeanor with a demonstrated ability to work well with a variety of individuals in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position an employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear;
The employee is frequently required to move about and use fingers and controls;
The employee is occasionally required to reach, bend, and lift and carry up to ten pounds;
Close vision ability to look at a computer screen for long periods of time is required.
Attendance:
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

The work environment is frequently chaotic with many students and staff members present and speaking simultaneously.
