OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work in Hanover, MD
.

• Experience developing applications using programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python, and related scripting languages.
• Experience developing in Windows and UNIX operating environments.
• Implement Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Recommend and evaluate new technologies and processes for complex projects.
• Analyze user requirements to determine software design and performance specifications.
• Design and implement complex algorithms and database interfaces/queries.
• Manage the integration of legacy software systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Make recommendations for optimizing overall performance.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, system engineers, and hardware engineers to define requirements and integration strategies.
• Experience leading teams, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.

• Minimum fourteen (14) years experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more programming language (C, C++, C#, Java, Python).
• Strong experience in Windows and UNIX development.
• Deep knowledge of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines and associated tools.

• A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $
