Embedded Engineer

Overview

Big Bear.ai is seeking an Embedded Developer 2 to join and assist and meet mission needs for our government customer. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location.

• Design, develop, debug, and test embedded software.
• Perform requirements analysis to drive requirement specifications.
• Perform design reviews with team members and government stakeholders.
• Package embedded software products for release to government customers.

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Experience with low-level programming in a Windows, Linux, or RTOS (i.e., VxWorks, uC/OS, etc.).
• Experience with C/C++ and Python programming.
• Bachelor Degree or higher in computer engineering or a field related to computer engineering or computer science disciplines.
• At least Ten (10) years of experience as an embedded developer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

• Experience automating the testing of embedded software running on embedded devices.
