Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. You will work closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with modern tools and technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality software.

• At least 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with a BS, 3 years of relevant experience with a MS, or 9 years of relevant experience with a HS Diploma
• Strong working knowledge of Java-based software, including modern frameworks like Spring or Guava
• Experience in designing enterprise APIs, RESTful web services, and Microservices architecture
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Linux, and configuration management tools (Git, Nexus, Maven)
• Experience with NiFi, Kafka, AWS Infrastructure, and K8s
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and distributed databases (Elasticsearch, Mongo
  
  DB)
• Scripting experience is a huge plus
• Active DoD 8140/8570 certification (Security+, etc) is required for consideration.

An active Secret clearance is required for consideration, TS/SCI clearance is preferred. Client cannot hold higher clearances (including polygraphs) and we are not able to upgrade clearances.
