Join Farmer Brothers' Revive™ Service & Restoration Team. Be the on-site expert who keeps coffee and tea brewing equipment running flawlessly for our customers. As a Field Technician with Revive™, you’ll install, maintain, and repair beverage systems while managing your parts inventory, closing service calls accurately, and documenting your work with precision.
A Day in the LifeYour day starts with a schedule of customer visits across your designated territory. You’ll hit the road, diagnose issues, complete preventative maintenance, or install new brewers and dispensers. Between stops, you’ll communicate clearly with customers and internal teams, keep your van stocked and organized, and wrap up each job with thorough documentation, including call closure and customer signatures.
Schedule & Travel- Typical hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. - On-call rotation required, including after-hours and weekends
- Primarily driving within a ~100-mile radius in most markets; regional travel may be required
- Install, service, repair, and remove commercial coffee and beverage dispensing equipment across a defined regional area.
- Handle scheduled and unscheduled calls: emergency responses, preventive maintenance, site surveys, and full installations.
- Participate in after-hours/weekends on-call rotation.
- Maintain appropriate spare parts and equipment levels and reorder per replenishment guidelines.
- Complete all required documentation: call closure, detailed work performed, accurate invoicing, and obtaining customer signatures.
- Plan, schedule, and execute equipment installations in coordination with the team.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Share customer feedback and requests with management and cross-functional teams.
- Follow customer program SLAs and manage priorities to meet expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of mechanical/technical experience required.
- Food service experience preferred.
- Background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of test meters preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to travel within a 100+ mile radius of the branch.
- Skilled at troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Comfort handling both scheduled and unscheduled work: emergency calls, PMs, surveys, and installs.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
