Crew Lead

As a Crew Lead you are responsible for coordinating residential installs of each system efficiently, in a timely and quality manner, with good leadership, communication and documentation skills while working on the roof.

Pay range: $28 to $35/hr (DOE) plus bonuses, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Note:

This position requires travel to job sites and may involve extended periods away from home.

• Supervise the entire installation project and on-site safety
• Oversee installation on various roof types and ground mounts
• Supervise quality and efficiency of work performed on site
• Coordinate with Roof Lead and Branch Manager on changes needed
• Mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment
• Accurately fill out job documents and maintain data/photos for each job
• Foster teamwork to improve productivity and project completion
• Drive company vehicle to and from jobs safely
• Manage truck tools and material inventory
• Supervise fixing and troubleshooting projects and cleanup of the job site
• Perform travel as required and maintain a current driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High School Graduate or GED

• Minimum 1+ year of experience, including at least 6 months of leading a crew
• Electrical and roof racking experience

• Motivation with attention to productivity, detail, and safety
• Ability to work safely at heights on ladders and in confined areas
• Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment
• Willingness to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops, and stand for long periods
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
• Regular, reliable attendance and ability to work in a collaborative team
• Ability to work in extreme environments (hot, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record

• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects
• Stand, walk, or run for long periods; climb ladders or scaffolds
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl; bend, stretch, or reach
• Lift up to 50+ pounds; perform repetitive motions
• See details at close and far distances; distinguish color variations
• Maintain balance and stay upright in unstable positions
• React quickly with hands, fingers, or feet; use fine motor precision
• Work on rooftops and in various environments

May be required to travel for business purposes; valid driver’s license/insurance required to operate a personal vehicle to different sites.
