Service Technician; Winter

Join to apply for the START Service Technician (Winter 2026) role at Tesla.

The START program is a comprehensive 16-week EV service training initiative designed for individuals with prior automotive experience. Participants will develop technical skills, earn certifications, and engage in in-class theory, hands-on labs, and self-paced learning. Soft skills will be enhanced through team-based repair exercises.

• Dedicate at least 40 hours weekly to training, including shadowing at service centers
• Participate in instructor-led training on Tesla vehicles
• Work collaboratively during labs and lectures
• Follow safety protocols diligently
• Manage tools and maintain organization
• Handle multiple tasks, organize workload, and meet deadlines
• Build professional rapport with instructors

• Complete all 16 weeks of training with at least 80% GPA
• Be able to report to a Tesla training location and service center
• Willing to relocate after training and accept employment within 30 days
• Lift up to 60 pounds
• Follow instructions carefully
• Work well in teams with a safety-first attitude
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web navigation

Expected compensation ranges from $22.50/hour plus bonuses and benefits.
