Sales Management Training Program – Commercial Distribution SummaryAs Havtech’s Commercial Distribution Sales business continues to grow, Havtech is seeking upcoming or recent graduates looking to join our sales and management team.
Our Sales and Management Training program is a 12 to 18-month sales and leadership development program that focuses on developing the skills to enable new college graduates to learn the business and lead a team or manage their own sales accounts. This role prepares candidates for Territory Management or leadership positions within HCD. Participants will apply and expand customer service and sales skills while working with internal stakeholders to drive sales growth in Havtech’s Commercial Distribution business.
The program includes enrollment in selective training programs offered by leading manufacturers represented by Havtech, designed for HVAC career pursuit. Training involves factory visits, classroom lectures, and interactive modules, covering Havtech’s core product lines, sales processes, and skill development to prioritize customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Selecting and pricing replacement parts and equipment.
- Preparing proposals and pricing strategies.
- Developing sales strategies and managing customer communication.
- Daikin, Bosch, GPS, United Cool Air, Camus, among others.
- All commercial aftermarket systems and products like chillers, compressors, ductless systems, heat pumps, boilers, etc.
- Order processing and customer inquiry responses.
- Building product and service awareness through outbound calls.
- Problem-solving and customer issue resolution.
- Collaborating with other departments within Havtech.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Using ERP systems for sales activities.
- Negotiating and validating proposals.
- Developing account-specific business plans.
- Analyzing market data to maximize sales and market share.
- Educating customers on warranties and claims procedures.
- Coordinating with internal teams for customer experience.
- Understanding project needs and developing schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred. - Interest in becoming a Territory Manager or business leader.
- Strong interest and experience in HVAC industry or mechanical contracting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and persistently.
