Scope of PositionUnder the direction of the Senior Project Manager or Associate Director – Project Management, the Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects and phases of multiple solar EPC projects and programs. The Project Manager manages collaborations with project stakeholders such as owners, utilities, landowners, municipalities, developers, consultants, subcontractors, and other partners, along with internal resources such as engineering and construction professionals.
The Project Manager ensures project and corporate goals—project schedule, scope, budget performance, quality requirements, and safety—are achieved while continuously conveying the value of the company’s services to stakeholders. This position has project P&L responsibility.
This is a hybrid position based in either our Columbia, MD or West Lebanon, NH offices. Remote may be considered for exceptional candidates located in select East Coast/Mid‑Atlantic states.
Salary RangeThe full pay range for this role is $105,100 – $175,100 per year. The target range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000 per year. Pay is based on internal equity, candidate experience, credentials, and location.

- Oversee and manage the delivery of company projects on time, on budget, and in compliance with health, safety, contract, quality, and legal requirements; coordinate, supervise, and manage project teams and external partners; secure subcontractors; lead team in vetting, qualifying, scoping, negotiating, and contracting; implement and manage project administration.
- Manage budget, expenses, revenue, margin, and schedule for multiple simultaneous projects; track actual P&L vs plan and take corrective action; forecast revenues, costs, and margins; manage subcontractor payments and project billings.
- Implement health and safety programs for each project; manage compliance with health and safety program and contract requirements, and ensure continuous compliance by project and subcontractors.
- Secure and maintain required approvals from customers, interconnection providers, and local authorities; assure accurate and timely submissions.
- Support internal origination, development, financing, and engineering teams on project matters; perform site reconnaissance, geotech, and investigations; attend AHJ meetings; oversee design and construction documentation.
- Report on projects to internal and external stakeholders; manage project details and update progress on company project management platform.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 7+ years progressive experience in construction and/or development, including roles as Project Manager, Project Engineer, Development Engineer, or Project Superintendent.
- Experience with utility‑scale photovoltaic systems of greater than 5 MW, preferably greater than 25 MW.
- Experience in constructing substations and/or solar interconnects into substations.
- Advanced understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, codes, design/build contracts, and construction methods.
- Experience with land development and project financial closing requirements.
- Experience with large‑scale cut and fill earthwork or landfill construction.
- Experience with subcontracting industrial or large commercial electrical work.
