The Service Now System Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Service Now platform. This role involves managing Service Now instances, implementing enhancements, and ensuring the stability and reliability of the platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with Service Now, and a solid understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles.
Experience interns will achieve:
- Perform day-to-day administration of the Service Now platform, including user and group management, ACLs, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, and client scripts.
- Configure and maintain Service Now applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and CMDB.
- Develop and implement enhancements, updates, and upgrades to the Service Now platform.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Service Now-related issues.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Service Now platform.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Service Now with other systems and tools.
- Stay up to date with the latest features and best practices for Service Now.
Required: Minimum of Top Secret (or higher) clearance
