Job Description Mission Technologies, a division of HII is immediately seeking a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join our growing team at our Columbia, MD location to lead the migration of the Minotaur software into a IL5 and IL6 cloud environment. This position will support a mission management tool called the Minotaur Mission Processor. Minotaur ingests data from various sensors on manned and unmanned surveillance aircraft to enhance an operator's ability to identify tracks from various on-board sensors, from both sea and land, that is utilized in all branches of the military.

Job Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
* Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm
* Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible
* Ensure system reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization
* Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement Dev Ops best practices
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues across cloud environments and Linux-based systems
* Maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, processes and standards

Minimum Qualifications
* 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
* Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.)
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration
* Expertise in Terraform and Ansible for Infrastructure as Code and automation
* Solid understanding of Linux administraton and shell scripting
* Familiarity with Dev Ops principles and CI/CD pipelines
* Must be willing to obtain a US level Secret clearance Preferred Requirements
* 2+ years of software development experience
* 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or role with any major cloud platform
* Proficient with RHEL operating system
* Have an active US level Secret clearance or higher
