đź’ˇ About this Role

As a Data Engineer specializing in Graph, Search, and Streaming Systems, you will design and maintain scalable data architectures that enable mission users to understand complex relationships, patterns, and behaviors across large datasets. Your work will focus on modeling data effectively, optimizing search and graph queries, and building streaming pipelines that deliver timely, actionable insights. This role centers on structuring and transforming data so that it can be explored, analyzed, and operationalized in high-security, mission-driven environments.

You will collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and Dev Ops teams to ensure data systems are performant, reliable, and adaptable to evolving mission needs.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain an active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
  • Design and implement data models across graph, search, and relational database technologies
  • Develop and maintain streaming and batch data pipelines
  • Optimize queries and indexing strategies for performance and scalability
  • Integrate data from multiple disparate sources into unified storage systems
  • Implement schema governance and data validation processes
  • Support analytics and application teams with performant, well-structured datasets
  • Monitor data pipeline health and troubleshoot ingestion or transformation issues
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into data architectures
  • Document data models, workflows, and architectural decisions

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Experience designing and implementing data models in graph and/or search technologies
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and schema design
  • Experience working with streaming or ETL pipelines
  • Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Familiarity with relational and No

    SQL databases
  • Experience optimizing data storage and retrieval performance
  • Familiarity with Git-based development workflows
  • Ability to manage large-scale datasets in secure environments

  • Experience with technologies such as Neo4j, Elasticsearch, Splunk, Dgraph, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with streaming frameworks (Kafka, NiFi, Flink, etc.)

  • Experience with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
  • Experience supporting production CNO capabilities and operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
