Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer, the Director of Product Marketing will lead strategic positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for Welldoc’s digital health solutions. You will communicate product capabilities and experience across B2B enterprise partners (Health Plans, Health Systems, Employers) and B2B2C end-users (patients/members). You will serve as the bridge between Product, Clinical, Regulatory, Sales, Client Success and the marketing team, translating complex clinical capabilities into compelling market stories.

A key focus is ensuring our value proposition is powerful yet compliant within regulatory guardrails for Class I and Class II medical devices.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Welldoc’s product offerings, core functionality, consumer/care team flows, and all updates.
  • Craft and own the positioning framework for Welldoc’s platform, ensuring clear differentiation in a crowded digital health market.
  • Articulate the value of clinical and AI capabilities, translating features into clinical benefits (outcomes, ROI, efficiency) for buyers and consumers.
  • Collaborate with regulatory, quality, clinical, and legal teams to ensure product messaging aligns with FDA Class I and Class II guidelines and privacy laws.
  • Execute the GTM strategy for new product releases and clinical enhancements; coordinate cross-functionally to align Sales, Customer Success, and Clinical teams.
  • Develop tools with design and clinical teams (interactive demos, video, etc.) to showcase product capabilities and clinical value for the sales team.
  • Work with clinical and marketing teams to create consumer-facing content (in-product, email, SMS) that drives B2B2C engagement while adhering to clinical safety guidelines.
  • Partner with product and marketing design teams to develop visual assets that showcase user experience (UI/UX) and roadmap vision across channels (website, social).
  • Collaborate with clients on branded/white-label content offerings.
  • Support market research to inform product positioning and messaging.
  • Monitor market and regulatory status to refine product differentiation.
  • Analyze data to assess product engagement and opportunities to improve user journeys and communications.
  • Gather insights from client-facing teams to identify opportunities and provide commercial input into the Product Roadmap.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in product marketing, preferably in healthcare or technology. Applicants without direct healthcare experience may not be considered.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and clinical technology applications.
  • Proven success as a senior marketing liaison with sophisticated clients (e.g., health plans, health systems, or life sciences) with deep expertise in B2B and B2B2C campaigns for patient/member acquisition and engagement in digital health.
  • Expert-level program and project management proficiency, including managing multiple, complex, multi-channel programs; familiarity with tools (e.g., Smart Sheets, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong practical understanding of digital marketing channels (email, digital media, social) in an omnichannel environment.
  • Ability to drive marketing data stories, track ROI, and guide optimization.
