Target Digital Network Analyst; Levels -IV

Overview

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA) to support operations in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Target Digital Network Analyst conducts advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to ensure target continuity, to profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain more target information. The analyst has an understanding of the principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process and disseminate information in accordance with established requirements and priorities;

analyzes DNI data for reportable intelligence information and building target profiles; maintains appropriate databases for targeting, tasking, and analysis; performs sustained target analysis and enhancement through the use of DNI and DNR analytic techniques; analyzes DNI data to identify new access development opportunities for follow-on collection requirements; performs research using open source and classified sources to develop comprehensive baseline profiles of designated target sets;

identifies intelligence gaps and evaluates the intelligence gathered in order to tailor current collection or enable new collection to close the gaps.

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience within the last 5 years
• Must meet the additional qualification for a skill level 1 in at least one of the following categories: NEA, SGA, or TAR during overall 12 years of experience
• Perform sustained target analysis and enhancement through the use of DNI and DNR analytic techniques
• Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development
• Run complex queries using a variety of tools and provide guidance on how to run better queries or use different tools or task selectors
• Expert level understanding of internet protocols, digital telecommunication technologies, and internet routing and the merging of packet- and circuit-switched networks
• Perform DNR development to identify other methods of target communications, and work with language analysts to analyze the importance of selectors and tie them to targets of interest
• Understand computer network infrastructure enabling discovery of new avenues of target development
• Work with other SIGDEV elements to introduce new tools/avenues of pursuit to find new collection
• Conduct advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to ensure target continuity, profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain more target information

Education and Experience:

Entry level positions require a high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to and including a high school diploma or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience OR a Master's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range: $85,000-$260,000
