Senior Visual Analyst, Level 2 (VA2) – TS/SCI w/ Poly

Location: Columbia, MD
Compensation Range: $126,000 – $154,000 (annualized USD)
Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

We are seeking a Senior Visual Analyst (VA2) to support a Data Analytics and Web Development team by providing expert-level web design, development, and hosting support
. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for website design and visual content, delivering polished, high-impact graphics and web solutions that communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.

You will work closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders to interpret requirements, recommend best practices, and implement scalable, secure web and visual solutions. This role is ideal for experienced visual analysts who enjoy blending design leadership, technical execution, and stakeholder engagement
.

• Design, develop, configure, deploy, and maintain web sites and web-based applications.

• Implement and maintain JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS to support business processes and data presentation.

• Manage and manipulate web content, leveraging content generation and publishing tools.

• Translate complex or abstract concepts into clear, compelling visual graphics and web experiences.

• Design and produce expert-level graphics to support organizational initiatives and communications.

• Act as the primary advisor on web and graphic design best practices, standards, and implementation approaches.

• Propose business solution strategies and design approaches based on user needs, workflows, and technical feasibility.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency, usability, and visual quality across platforms.

• Interact professionally with senior leadership to gather requirements and present design solutions.

• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing web-based solutions using industry-standard platforms and technologies.

• 5+ years of experience gathering requirements and leading stakeholder discussions, technical exchanges, or design reviews.

• Demonstrated expertise in UI/UX design
  , including advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite
  , especially Adobe Illustrator
  .

• Strong understanding of web architecture and content management systems
  .

• Experience applying web security best practices
  .

• Proficiency with web development and design tools, including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
  .

• Strong visual communication, attention to detail, and design judgment.

• Experience with
  web hosting and monitoring solutions.

• Knowledge of serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda).

• Familiarity with network profiling or device fingerprinting concepts.

• Experience with
  AI-generated content or agentic coding tools.

• Experience with
  Nginx, Word Press
  , or other web content hosting platforms.

• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira
  .

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  OR

• Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  OR

• 14+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree

Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, technical depth, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $126,000 – $154,000 (annualized USD).
