The primary responsibility for this position is to support the PURPLE STREAK CORNER PIPE tool by developing new technical documentation and maintaining current documentation for the tool. The experienced Technical Writer will be responsible for working with the newly refreshed version of the CORNER PIPE tool to provide a priority new end user guide and a quick reference guide. The candidate should have exceptional written and oral communications, experience writing formal documentation for government contract data requirement list (CDRLs), maintaining the program CDRLs required with each quarterly release deliverable, and enforcing standards and procedures for program documents and records.

The Technical Writer will also establish and maintain program data repositories and version control, and work with team members including the program, software development, and test managers.

  Experience preparing, reviewing, editing, certifying, and controlling technical documents, familiarity with applicable programs and applications, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work across teams under deadlines, comfortable with publishing and word processing applications on Windows and in Confluence/JIRA, experience developing illustrations for technical documents and formatting them, ability to work independently and in a team, highly organized and detail oriented.
• Qualifications
  :
  Bachelor's degree and minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years of experience in document management and technical editing or prior relevant experience, or a master's with six (6) to ten (10) years of prior relevant experience.
• Security Clearance Requirement
  :
  Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
