Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, IAVA, Oracle, RDBMS, PL/SQL, MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra
Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.Required:
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- Must be a US Citizen
- This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two (02) years within the last five (05) years must be directly related to Database Engineering / Administration:
- Level 04 requires a minimum fifteen (15) years of experience
- Level 03 requires a minimum twelve (12) years of experience
- Level 02 requires a minimum nine (09) years of experience
- Level 01 requires a minimum six (06) years of experience
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Experience with Oracle Database Administration including Oracle data replication technologies
- Experience implementing and maintaining database security
- Experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems/issues
- Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software
- Experience with procedural languages, for example: PL/SQL
- Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system database and Oracle Streams replication issues
- Modify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues
- Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests
- Perform system updates and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patching
- Recommend design and implementation practices that optimize the performance of GOTS/COTS databases and applications
- Experience with Oracle Grid/RAC in a Linux environment
- Experience with Mongo
- Experience with real-time highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, Sybase Replication Server
- Experience with MySQL
- Experience with Cassandra.
