Systems Administrator

Overview

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a System Administrator 2 to manage information technology systems, infrastructure, and processes. This opportunity is for a future award expected in October 2025.

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems
• Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems
• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software
• Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems and detailed analysis for escalated tickets

• Ten (10) years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor s degree

Security clearance:
Top Secret/SCI with Poly. Relevant experience as described above.

Pay Range: $145,000 - $164,000. The BTS pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Offers consider responsibilities, candidate education, work experience, and competencies.
