General Summary Of Position

The Senior Organizational Capability Consultant plays a critical role in diagnosing organizational challenges and delivering strategic solutions that enhance talent management, leadership development, and business performance. This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and cross‑functional stakeholders to design and implement data‑driven interventions that strengthen organizational capability, close talent gaps, drive change, and support a high‑performing, engaged workforce. The Senior Organizational Capability Consultant role combines deep expertise in organizational development with strong project and program management capabilities to ensure timely, high‑impact delivery of initiatives that support a high‑performing, engaged workforce.

Primary

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Analyze engagement and listening program data across the employee lifecycle to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop compelling narratives and visualizations to support strategic decision‑making of internal stakeholders and translate insights into actionable recommendations for senior leaders and HR partners.
  • Deploy a consistent, scalable change‑management model to support system and business unit transformations.
  • Define success metrics and implement measurement strategies to assess change adoption and impact.
  • Lead program and stakeholder discussions, gap analyses, data collection from key stakeholders and external/internal research to articulate business needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Diagnose talent management needs and partner with HR Business Partners to develop and implement strategies that support high‑potential talent and future leadership pipelines.
  • Contribute to the design and support implementation of talent architecture frameworks that align with business goals and workforce planning.
  • Deliver expert facilitation and training on leadership capabilities to ensure organizational performance, team effectiveness, culture, and other HR processes support the achievement of business goals.
  • Conduct and coach team and individual assessments to inform interventions that close gaps between current and desired future states.
  • Collaborate with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Technology and other HR Centers of Excellence to align and integrate talent strategies.
  • Lead stakeholder discussions, gap analyses and research to articulate business needs and co‑create solutions.
  • Apply advanced data analysis techniques to identify root causes of organizational challenges and performance gaps.
  • Use insights to recommend and implement targeted interventions that improve business outcomes.
  • Partner with primary administrator for HR technology platforms to ensure effective system configurations, user permissions, data integrity and workflow optimization.
  • Monitor system performance and reporting metrics ensuring reliability, compliance and a seamless user experience.
Minimal Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, business or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience
  • 8-10 years in organizational effectiveness, talent management or HR consulting roles required.
  • 8-10 years managing complex projects or programs, preferably in HR or organizational development, required.
  • One year of relevant professional‑level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting engagement data, workforce metrics and organizational assessments.
  • Proven ability to lead change initiatives and consult with senior leaders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid).
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci), leadership assessments, coaching or organizational development.
  • Experience in large matrixed organizations or regulated industries.
  • Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Salary Range

USD $80,995.00 - USD $ /Yr.
