Job Title: Field Marketing Manager, Sustainability and Environmental Health
Reports To: Director of Marketing, Endoscopy Systems & Portfolio Solutions
Location: Columbia, MD (Remote)
Position Summary: The Field Marketing Manager, Sustainability and Environmental Health will lead our national field efforts in developing and executing on downstream marketing activities for Ambu’s industry-leading profile in sustainable health care initiatives. This role will work closely with key stakeholders in the health care sustainability field, as well as health care providers, health system administrators, and GPO partners. This role will lead Ambu’s field-level focus on partnering, learning, and communicating with health care system sustainability stakeholders regarding Ambu’s sustainability strategies, product level initiatives, partner-based site-specific sustainability metric programs, and education-based opportunities for staff and administration.
Additionally, the Field Marketing Manager will support Sales Teams and Corporate Account Teams in customer training, administrative presentations, and Ambu and industry informational programs. This position is well suited for a product/technology/solutions evangelist, an excellent communicator with strong presentation skills in clinical and administrative health care environments, as well as a background in the sciences, sustainability, environmental health resources.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provide field/customer engagement and subject matter leadership on Ambu’s Sustainability Programs and Strategies, Environmental Health Education in Health Care Settings, and technology-based solutions
- Develop and maintain in-depth “State of the Market” analysis and voice of customer program on Health Care Sustainability, Environmental Health Administration from Department to IDN levels
- Collaborate with Sales Teams and Corporate Accounts Teams to drive knowledge, messaging, and value differentiators with Ambu’s diverse customer base across health care
- Leverage Ambu’s market leading sustainability position to influence direction of Health Care Scorecards, RFPs, KPIs, and general measurements of Sustainability
- Deliver customer-facing education sessions (e.g. CEU-based courses, onsite presentations) on Sustainability and Environmental Issues facing health care facilities
- Develop field-based programs with Ambu Product Line Marketing leaders and Ambu Market Access to convey the value of Ambu single-use endoscopy to Sustainability stakeholders with the focus of creating advocates for Ambu’s unique single-use technologies and Sustainability approaches
- Drive ongoing communications and sales tools surrounding Ambu’s Sustainability programs, partnerships, or product adoption support
- Develop best-in-class Health Care System Value Analysis materials with the Ambu Health Economics, Outcomes, and Market Access Teams
- Lead field-based execution of marketing campaigns for Ambu’s Sustainability education, initiatives, and technology solutions
- Create and implement in-depth sales training and ongoing education programs with Ambu’s Learning & Development team
- Establish relationships within relevant societies, clinical influencers, and administrative organizations to better understand market adoption challenges and product access obstacles as it relates to single-use devices and Sustainability
- Collaborate on establishing and maintaining Ambu USA’s Downstream Sustainability Advisory Board
- Support ongoing market research efforts for Sustainability, Single-Use Devices, and health care provider priorities in environmental health for US and Ambu Global Sustainability Teams
- Provide key Voice of Customer reports for Marketing Management on a regular basis
- Provide leadership and support at conferences and courses within Sustainability and Ambu’s various medical specialties
- Monitor competitive activities and changes in the marketplace for quarterly updates
- Up to 50% travel required
Qualifications /
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Health care and device environments, preferably with a clinical background
