DMV Psychiatric Wellness is currently accepting resumes for Certified Physician Assistant positions in our outpatient office located in between Baltimore and DC.

DMV Psychiatric Wellness providers provide in-depth psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and continuation of services to the patients/clients.
This position requires self-motivated, ambitious Providers who are seeking the flexibility and autonomy of private practice and can work in an active environment. Providers must have the ability to collaborate on a motivated team, high stands of excellent work ethic, and strong clinical skills. Providers focus on medication management, healthy recovery initiatives, and sustaining positive mental health.
Responsibilities- Provide initial and ongoing psychiatric evaluation to patients 12 years of age through the lifespan.
- Subscribe to a treatment construct that includes the use of controlled substances.
- Demonstrate a patient‑first mentality.
- See 15-20 patients daily performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management.
- Provide 1 hour for psychiatric evaluation.
- Work closely with consulting head NP and administration.
- Design treatment plans for patients suffering from various mental health disorders.
- Document notes in the Kareo system.
This position would require a Psychiatry CAQ Certification.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications- Master's degree in Medical Science (PA) (PA-C) with a CAQ in Psychiatry.
- Current PA license in MD.
- Strong understanding of behavioral and mood disorders.
- Strong understanding of child development and the use of technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to professional development and ongoing education.
- Interest in developing and implementing community‑based programs that promote healthy behaviors.
- Commitment to providing high quality services using evidence‑based practices.
