🚀 Senior Automation Lead | GMP Manufacturing | Skid-Based Project
We are supporting a GMP manufacturing site seeking a Senior Automation Lead to oversee automation execution for a skid-based manufacturing project.
This is a technical leadership role — not a pure coding position. You will serve as the primary automation representative, interfacing with Manufacturing, Validation, and external system integrators to ensure successful project delivery.
🔎 What You’ll Be Responsible For- Lead automation scope for an upstream or downstream manufacturing skid
- Interface directly with system integrators and review deliverables
- Review and modify Rockwell Structured Text code
- Manage change controls and conduct impact assessments
- Partner closely with Manufacturing and Validation
- Represent Automation in cross-functional meetings
- Own smaller automation initiatives independently
- 8–10+ years of automation experience in GMP environments
- Strong Rockwell expertise (Structured Text required)
- Batch process automation background
- Working knowledge of DeltaV
- Experience with GMP change controls and deviation investigations
- Experience overseeing system integrators
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
- Comfortable in stakeholder-facing leadership roles
- Able to translate automation requirements into project outcomes
- Practical, risk-based decision-maker
- Experience in both brownfield and greenfield projects (preferred)
